Our Bocce players ended their season with a Regional Tournament in Woodbury on Saturday, 9/25.  A huge thanks to Head Coach Lisa Vala and her team of faithful coaches including Jodi Hirsch, Teresa Thielen, and Hannah Efron for supporting our players.  Nathan Olimb and his Unified Partner Matt Gendreau won a highly competitive doubles game against 3 other Wings pairs.  All singles and doubles players played well and kept spirits up despite COLD temps.  Coach Lisa accepted a large team this season giving many new players the opportunity to learn bocce.

Our 2 softball teams also played on Saturday and again, although the weather was cold, our teams were on fire!  Biza pitched two great games for the Black Wings and the Red Wings, with Coach Pitcher  Dan Praska, supported by starting pitchers Taylor Kaufman and Sabrina Fraser, had a great time and showed their spirit and sportsmanship.  Thanks to Head Coaches Paul D’Arco and Michelle Anderson, Paul Cashin and Mark Hirschfeld for their time and commitment this year. Both the bocce and softball teams were supported by MANY other volunteer coaches and we thank everyone.  GO WINGS!
